Thanks Scott... Seems like the course ran even a bit slower than usual this year. Grass on the first mile was damp & a bit longer than years previous. I like that it seems close to Mt. SAC times, and I had heard that from a couple others too.
Does anyone have any insight on how fast (or slow) the Craig Park course runs relative to other well known courses?
We've gone for three years now, so I know that it runs quite a bit slower than say Woodbridge (what course doesn't)... But do we have a reliable estimate? How does it compare to Mt. SAC, or Clovis?
Any help would be appreciated
Tim,
Admittedly I don't have a lot of data on that course, but I did a comparison of the Sunny Hills Invite vs. Mt. Sac for 2012, looking at "varsity level" kids (sub 17:30 boys and sub 20:00 girls). I found an average of about 10 seconds difference (faster than Mt. Sac) for a 15:xx runner, and 11 seconds for a 17:xx runner. I too would be interested in hearing from those familiar with the course whether that sounds reasonable.
